Personal Life of Anuel AA
The most important event in the personal life of Anuel AA, was his arrest on April 3, 2016, when he left the prestigious Tabaco & Ron Lounge San Juan in Santurce, located in Puerto Rico. According to the authorities the singer was confiscated several firearms with different models and denominations, also being under the effects of drugs and alcohol that night.
In the same way, in the court where he was sentenced, the content of his songs came into question and the content of his songs was questioned, because of his explicit lyrics that not only incited violence, but also spoke of biasing life, the sale of drugs and armed robbery. However, it could be shown that the artist never committed such actions and that these were only part of his artistic work, to obtain commercial sales. "I'm going to show everyone that I'm not that negative person that people believe because of my music," said Anuel AA when he heard his sentence. Also, it is known from other official sources, that the imprisonment of the reggaetón singer is related to the mobster Vladimir Orizolov, a famous drug trafficker. However, this accusation was never proven.
For Anuel AA, this was one of the hardest moments that he had to go through in his life, confessing in addition that with this situation one of his worst fears materialized; which is to abandon his three-year-old son. To the surprise of the singer, his fans expressed their conditional support through a march held outside the Guaynabo penitentiary in Puerto Rico. While in prison, Anuel AA never lost contact with his music producer and took advantage of the confinement to put his life in order and get back on track. He devoted himself to composing songs that contained a positive message among his lyrics and leaving aside the nuances of violence that his previous themes have.
In 2017, Anuel AA is involved in a new legal problem, this time he is the one who demands, together with his father José Gazmey, the record company he belonged to called Maybach Music Latino, for violating his copyrights and misusing of image, while the reggaeton player was deprived of freedom. In detail, according to official media the conflict originated because the label took the attribution to commercialize the singer's musical themes, without his consent, in addition to claiming all the profits for sales, downloads and streaming of the same.
